OVER 25 YEARS SERVING THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

RGB’s involvement initially began around 5 years prior to the project starting on site

A Natural Stone CPD was presented for Derbyshire County Council by Stancliffe Stones Andy Withington ( now running our Natural Stone department) and our director Rob Corr

Preliminary drawings and concepts were discussed.

Glancy Nicholls Architects of Birmingham then evolved the project to working drawing stage and RGB worked closely with them to evolve the design.

Once on site we worked alongside PMJ Masonry to further evolve the details, production and supply of all Handset Ashlar, Rainscreen and dressings such as soffits coping etc.

At the same time working in conjunction with main contractor Mansell and installers Phoenix Brick and Stonework on the dry stone effect walling.

The random cropped walling in the same Stanton Moor Sandstone was produced by ourselves and a method jointly arrived at that allowed construction to be both efficient and cost effective.

The joint collaborative approach on this project by all parties involved has been used time and again.

This “Multi Award Winning” project is true testament to the results that can be achieved working together and with wonderful local Natural Stone.

Our Rob Corr states “this has to be my favourite project I have worked on in 30 plus years in construction!”

RGB are currently supplying a similar project for the same clients in Belper Derbyshire
